Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Control Executive at JACPL's facility in Savli. The Quality Control Executive will oversee quality checks, conduct product testing, and monitor compliance with quality standards. This role involves coordinating with production teams to identify areas for quality improvement, ensuring adherence to established protocols, and maintaining comprehensive records of testing and compliance results. The Executive will also be responsible for identifying and implementing corrective actions to uphold optimal product quality.

  • Proficiency in quality control processes, inspection, and testing procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality concerns
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, and compliance practices
  • Attention to detail, data recording, and documentation skills
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with production teams and report findings effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a quality control role within the manufacturing or chemical industry is an advantage


Role Summary:


This role will be responsible for conducting routine and non-routine quality testing of Raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, with a strong focus on wet chemistry and analytical methods. The role ensures adherence to quality standards, supports process improvement, and maintains compliance with IMS standards & customer requirements.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Sampling and testing of finished products/ of Raw materials/ Packing Materials.

• Preparation and release of COA and per Specifications.

• Preparation of Specification and STP.

• Perform wet chemical analysis (titrations, gravimetric analysis, moisture, ash, density, pH, acidity/alkalinity, etc.).

• Conduct quality testing of polymer samples, resins, additives, and chemical intermediates.

• Operate and maintain basic analytical instruments:

➢ UV–Vis Spectrophotometer

➢ Karl Fischer Apparatus

➢ Viscometer

➢ pH Meter

➢ Muffle Furnace

➢ Moisture Analyzer etc

➢ Support advanced analysis (if applicable): FTIR, GC, HPLC (basic knowledge desirable).


• Prepare and maintain test records, COAs, logs, and calibration documents.

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, GMP/GLP, and internal SOPs/STPs.

• Assist in preparation of QA/QC reports, deviations, and CACA documentation.

• In-process quality checks for polymer manufacturing.

• Communicate results, abnormalities, and recommendations to production & QA teams.

• Participate in root cause analysis, audits, and quality improvement projects.

• Perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance of lab instruments.

• Ensure proper upkeep of chemicals, reagents, and laboratory safety equipment.

• Preparation and standardization reagent solutions to ensure authenticity of results.

• Investigation of customer complaints.

• Statistical Quality Control (SQC)


Skills & Competencies Required:


• Knowledge of trouble shooting of instruments like GC, HPLC, IR, UV, melting point system, KF & auto tiltrotor.

• Knowledge of ISO and BRC related activities.

• Knowledge of GLP and ICH guidelines.

• Good behavior and having positive attitude.

• NABL exposer should have advantage

• Familiarity with lab safety standards.

• Good documentation, data interpretation, and reporting skills.

• Ability to work independently in a quality-sensitive environment.


Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry, Industrial/Organic /Inorganic Chemistry, Polymer Science.


Experience:

• Minimum 3-7 years’ experience in Quality Control (reputed Food Polymer /Polymer /Chemical/API based organization) department
