Job Title: Manual QA Lead Location: Bengaluru, All 5 days WFO(Mon-Fri) Job Type: Full-Time(Permanent Role) Experience Level: 5+ years with Leading teams experience Department: Quality Assurance **Looking for Immediate Joiners or someone who can join within 15-20 days** Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manual QA Lead to oversee and guide our quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on manual testing experience, and a deep understanding of QA methodologies. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and stability of our products across platforms by leading a team of QA testers and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manual QA engineers. Define and implement QA processes, test strategies, and best practices. Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and define test plans and test cases. Perform hands-on testing including functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and UI testing. Ensure comprehensive test coverage and high product quality through meticulous test case execution. Review test cases, test results, and bug reports submitted by team members. Manage bug tracking, reporting, and retesting processes using tools such as JIRA or similar. Participate in release planning, sprint grooming, and daily stand-ups. Provide regular test status updates and risk assessments to project stakeholders. Continuously improve QA processes and advocate for a quality-first mindset across teams. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in software testing with at least 2 years in a lead or senior QA role. Strong experience with manual testing techniques across web and mobile platforms. Experience writing and reviewing detailed test cases and documentation. Proficiency with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SQL and back-end data validation. Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks (even if primarily manual). Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or similar. Knowledge of accessibility and usability standards. ISTQB Certification or equivalent. Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter. Experience in testing complex systems such as ERP or e-commerce platforms. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum workflows. Why Join Us?
