Prepress Technician

As a Graphics Prepress Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring successful printing production by setting the foundation for proper format, appearance, and layout before the full print run is completed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures - Convert supplied files or follow instructions to create final proof files - Apply minimum print specifications to files and output proofs - Convert approved proof files to final stepped files for plate output - Utilize management system for Evaluations and Job tasks - Review finished files and interact with Customer Account Representatives or Management regarding job specifications - Collaborate with the development team to optimize production processes - Participate in continuous improvement activities, attend department meetings, and internal training classes - Perform any other duties as assigned **Qualifications Required:** - College degree, preferably related to the printing industry - Minimum 5 years of experience in a prepress environment - Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable tasks - Proficient in preparing/planning artwork for high-volume printing, color separations, press layouts, and print specifications - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Esko Automation Engine, and Esko ArtPro - Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and planning skills - Full color vision (no color blindness) - Excellent proficiency in English The company is looking for a candidate with a working knowledge of Javascript and a B-1 Visa for occasional travel to the United States.,
