Quality Assurance Engineer

Leading Product based gaming domain company is hiring for Quality Designer role.

About the Role

As a Quality Designer, you will be a key contributor in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our games. You will specialize in QA domains, working closely with development teams or central QA groups to design test strategies, drive continuous improvements, and advocate for quality from a consumer perspective. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and technical expertise to influence game design and implementation decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the

  end-to-end test strategy

  for game releases and live updates.
• Lead

  quality verification efforts

  , providing both technical and strategic direction.
• Collaborate with QV Delivery Directors/Managers on release execution, live pod support, and achieving quality goals.
• Drive modern QA practices such as

  Risk-Based Testing, data-driven testing, and AI-led testing approaches

  .
• Partner with game development teams to align on

  product roadmap, feature readiness, and quality targets

  .
• Lead

  Quality Engineering initiatives

  , including automation, tools, and new technology adoption.
• Share best practices by networking with

  global QA teams

  and ensuring consistency across projects.

Skills & Expertise

• Strong background in

  test strategy, planning, and execution

  with data-driven methods.
• Ability to provide effective test coverage and detect issues early in the cycle.
• Skilled in

  research, analysis, and risk identification

  using test data.
• Proficiency in

  reporting and quality metrics/KPIs

  to provide actionable insights.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with focus on long-term solutions.
• Hands-on experience in

  automation and tool adoption

  for QA optimization.
• Knowledge of

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  for planning and execution (preferred).
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in

  Quality Assurance, test planning, and execution

  .
• Proven success in:
• Leading QA teams and creating

  comprehensive test strategies

  .
• Executing test plans across all stages of product development and live services.
• Managing complex QA processes and change management without impacting quality.
• Leveraging tools, automation, and data to drive test efficiency year-over-year.
• Adopting and implementing

  industry-leading QA practices
