Job Description

Test Planning and Analysis

Understand business requirements and convert them into automated test cases using Tosca.
Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and estimate automation effort.
Design the test automation strategy aligned with project goals.

2. Tosca Test Case Design & Development

Create, configure, and maintain test cases using Tosca Modules, TestCases, and TestCaseDesign.
Build reusable and modular test components for better maintainability.
Automate end-to-end functional, regression, and integration test scenarios.

3. Tosca Framework Utilization

Use Tosca features such as TestCase Design, Reusability, Data-driven testing, ScratchBook, and ExecutionLists effectively.
Work with Tosca Commander, Tosca CI, and Tosca Distributed Execution (DEX) for optimal automation execution.
Customize Tosca automation framework as per project needs.

4. Test Execution and Reporting

Execute automated test scripts and analyze results through Tosca ExecutionLists.
Log, track, and report defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Generate and share detailed test execution reports with stakeholders.

5. CI/CD & Tool Integration

Integrate Tosca with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to support continuous testing.
Integrate Tosca with ALM tools like qTest, TestRail, or Jira Xray.

6. Collaboration & Support

Work closely with developers, manual testers, and business analysts.
Participate in daily agile/scrum meetings and provide automation updates.
Support team members in Tosca usage and best practices.

7. Maintenance and Optimization

Maintain and refactor automation scripts to keep them up-to-date with application changes.
Identify automation gaps and recommend improvements.
Ensure test data availability and environment readiness for test execution.

8. Documentation & Compliance

Document test cases, execution logs, and Tosca configurations.
Ensure test scripts comply with organizational standards and guidelines.
