Job Description: Purchase Officer (Polychem Manufacturing)Job Summary:
The Purchase Officer will manage the procurement process for the polychemical manufacturing operations, ensuring that all materials, goods, and services are sourced efficiently and comply with quality, cost, and delivery requirements. This role involves vendor management, negotiation, inventory control, and collaborating with various internal departments to support production schedules. Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing & Vendor Management: Research, evaluate, and select potential vendors and suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and equipment, focusing on quality, cost-effectiveness, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
• Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and supply agreements to secure the most favorable deals and achieve cost-saving objectives.
• Order Management: Prepare and issue accurate purchase orders (POs) using ERP systems, track orders, and expedite deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time to meet production demands.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Monitor purchased products to ensure they meet specified quality standards (e.g., Safety Data Sheets, Certificates of Analysis) and resolve any shipment errors or quality issues with suppliers.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and supplies, analyze demand patterns, and place orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices. Prepare detailed reports on purchases, including cost analyses and performance metrics.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, professional relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth operations.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about market conditions, industry trends, and pricing fluctuations to identify opportunities for cost optimization and risk mitigation.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
