PRODUCTION MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines, monitoring workflow and adjusting resources as necessary.
• Quality Control & Assurance: Determine and enforce quality control standards, oversee product testing, and ensure all finished products meet specific chemical and industry specifications.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Develop and implement accident prevention and safety procedures, conducting regular inspections to ensure all employees follow strict health, safety, and environmental (EHS) guidelines and regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
• Resource and Inventory Management: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of raw materials and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. This also includes managing human resources and equipment allocation.
• Process Optimization & Cost Control: Monitor productivity rates, analyze production data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives (like Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma) to reduce expenses, minimize waste, and enhance efficiency.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment and machinery, such as reactors and extruders, to ensure minimal downtime.
• Team Leadership & Management: Supervise, mentor, and motivate production staff, including supervisors and operators. This involves setting performance goals, evaluating performance, and coordinating training sessions.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present reports on production performance, costs, and challenges to senior management and other departments (e.g., R&D, sales, quality assurance).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
