Role Summary

Technical Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement of technical items including machinery parts, tools, and maintenance supplies
• Review and process purchase requisitions and orders in alignment with production and engineering needs
• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Handle procurement of CAPEX items and project-based requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
• Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Maintenance, Stores) to forecast and fulfill material requirements
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations in all procurement activities
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely reordering to avoid stockouts

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 1–6 years of experience in technical procurement or purchase management, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing
• Strong understanding of technical specifications and industrial components
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar)
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of compliance standards and documentation practices
