Role Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Purchase Executive to manage procurement of engineering, maintenance, and production-related materials. The ideal candidate will ensure timely sourcing of technical goods and services, maintain vendor relationships, and uphold compliance with internal purchasing protocols. Key Responsibilities Handle end-to-end procurement of technical items including machinery parts, tools, and maintenance supplies Review and process purchase requisitions and orders in alignment with production and engineering needs Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines. Handle procurement of CAPEX items and project-based requirements. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Maintenance, Stores) to forecast and fulfill material requirements Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations in all procurement activities Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely reordering to avoid stockouts Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field 1–6 years of experience in technical procurement or purchase management, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing Strong understanding of technical specifications and industrial components Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar) Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines Knowledge of compliance standards and documentation practices
