Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services required by the company. The role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards and timely delivery to support smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, quotations, and related documentation.
• Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with vendors to secure the best deals.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the stores or production team for material requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and follow up with vendors on order status.
• Coordinate with finance for payment processing and vendor reconciliation.
• Evaluate supplier performance and assist in vendor development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
• Prepare periodic reports on purchase activities, cost savings, and material status.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho Inventory).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability.
