Purchasing Engineer

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer with experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the procurement of fabricated process vessels, liquid, ointment, and sugar syrup equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of vendor development, material sourcing, cost negotiation, and purchase order management, along with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Qualification:

• Diploma or Graduation in any engineering field and any additional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain
• Experience: 1-2+Years (Manufacturing Field or Pharmaceutical Background)

Key Skills & Responsibility:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead and manage the procurement team to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Identify an d evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating favourable contracts and terms.
• Oversee the sourcing of materials, goods, and services to meet company requirements.
• Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement activities.
• Implement and optimize procurement processes for maximum efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with overall business objectives.
• Analyse and report on procurement metrics, performance, and budget adherence.
• Implement risk management strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
• Continuously evaluate and improve vendor performance and product quality.
• Participate in budget planning and contribute to cost management initiatives.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
