Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Purchase Manager to lead our procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials and services at competitive prices, developing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure the timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and production teams.
  • Manage purchase orders, review requisitions, and approve procurement budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, shipments, and inventory.
  • Resolve supply issues, delays, or disputes with vendors effectively.
  • Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (finance, operations, logistics) to forecast demand and plan procurement.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and product innovations.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or logistics, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

· Proven track record of successful procurement and import management.

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software

Preferred Qualifications

· Certifications in supply chain management, procurement, or international trade.

· Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified International Trade Professional (CITP)) are preferred.

· Experience in international procurement and import/export regulations.

  • Familiarity with sustainable sourcing practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
