Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase Manager to oversee and optimize all procurement and vendor management functions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of supply chain practices, vendor negotiations, cost control, and procurement strategies within the manufacturing or automotive industry. This pivotal role involves sourcing quality materials at competitive prices, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with production requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, consumables, and services required for production and operations. Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve quality. Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors while ensuring compliance with company policies. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the stores and production teams to ensure uninterrupted supply. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure compliance with contractual terms and quality standards. Ensure timely delivery of materials by proactively managing lead times and logistics. Collaborate with other departments including Production, Finance, and Quality Control. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new sourcing opportunities. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation.
