About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager – Scrum to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact projects using Agile methodologies. This role involves end-to-end project management, facilitation of Scrum ceremonies, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. The individual will also play a key role in scaling Agile practices across the organisation and driving continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Manage execution to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for seamless execution
- Track performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices
- Conduct post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Guide teams on Agile/Scrum principles and remove impediments
- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a prioritised backlog
- Track and communicate team velocity and Agile metrics
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile mindset
- Promote transparency, inspection, and adaptation
- Support scaling Agile practices across teams and departments
- Gather, document, and analyse business requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
- Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and project managers
- Support testing efforts and validate outcomes
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
- Assist in change management and user training activities
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies
- Proficient in tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I, or equivalent
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
