Roles & Responbilites .Implement new and changed applications in development, test, preproduction and production environments .Ensure proper implementation in production environments by supporting deployment team .Ensure proper functionality of technical application interfaces .Gather the correct requirements that are derived out of those specifications .Work closely with business and technical unit to ensure a common understanding of requirements .2nd level support in BI environments .You have to understand how a normalized Tel Co Data Model works to get a clear view on specifications and requirements .Create the Low Level Design for the specifications .Implement the changes as per the specifications. .You have to understand the different configuration options to be creative regarding special specifications .Perform a Unit Test on the implementations you have done .Perform a System Test on the implementation of other developers - these again demand a deep understanding of the complete flow .Handle high complex environments where small changes will have big consequences - always keep the big picture in mind .Execute defect fixing for System Test, Operational Acceptance Test and Production .After implementation in Production support business in analyzing gaps and mismatches in the loaded data .Provide Root Cause Analysis for defects to minimize defects in future .Responsible for quality of code delivery (create checklists for developers, check software before testing, check testing) .Responsible for Effort Estimations (development and test) Skills required Good understanding of K2view architecture and its components. Experience with Fabric CQLSH, Fabric Debugging, Fabric Synchronization and its modes, Fabric Jobs and parsers, and WS as a source. Understanding of environments, database types, interfaces, logical units, schemas, instance groups, web services, tables, global parameters, functions, and transactions. Knowledge about K2view integration with Kafka. Good experience in Java and K2View. ETL knowledge (independent of AI, ODI, Informatica). Good experience in SQL and Cassandra DB Knowledge about normalized data models. Good understanding of data and relationships. JAVA Knowledge of OGG (nice to have). Agile methodology.
