Project Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead and deliver projects in a service-based IT environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple projects, engaging with clients, and ensuring high-quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets. You will be responsible for bridging communication between stakeholders, technical teams, and business leaders to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Project Planning & Execution -

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery.

2) Client Management -

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and regular status updates.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables for the technical team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

3) Team Coordination -

• Lead cross-functional teams including developers, testers, designers, and business analysts.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives for Agile projects.

4) Risk & Issue Management -

• Identify potential project risks and create mitigation plans.
• Resolve issues quickly to avoid project delays.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and client-specific processes.

5) Reporting & Documentation -

• Track and report project progress, key metrics, and deliverables to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including meeting notes, decisions, and change requests.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 1-2 years in a project management role in a service-based IT company.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, Asana).
• Ability to handle tight deadlines and manage cross-cultural teams.

Preferred

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification.
• Experience working with international clients.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes for service delivery and operations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern tech stacks.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
