Production Supervisor

1. Production Operations

• Lead day-to-day production activities with a focus on efficiency, quality, and timelines.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production plans and align with sales forecasts.
• Monitor machine and manpower utilization.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Identify and act on opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.

2. Store & Inventory Management

• Oversee inventory of raw materials, consumables, and semi-finished goods.
• Implement reorder level tracking and coordination with the purchase team.
• Ensure proper inward and outward documentation of stock.
• Practice 5S principles and lean manufacturing tools in the store area.

3. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination

• Plan daily dispatches in line with customer delivery schedules.
• Supervise packing, labeling, loading, and logistics coordination.
• Maintain dispatch records and generate MIS reports.
• Liaise with logistics vendors for timely and cost-effective transport.

4. Team Leadership & HR Coordination

• Lead the production, store, and dispatch staff; resolve internal grievances.
• Conduct daily huddles, shift briefings, and team updates.
• Collaborate with HR for manpower planning, recruitment, and training.
• Foster discipline, safety, and morale among factory workers.

5. Forecasting & Planning

• Analyze historical data, order pipeline, and sales forecasts to prepare capacity and material forecasts.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, and QC for demand fulfillment.

6. Quality Assurance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to company quality standards during production and dispatch.
• Coordinate with the QC team for in-process checks and final inspections.
• Enforce safety protocols and compliance as per factory norms.
• Maintain documentation related to audits, inspections, and certifications.

7. Reporting & Documentation

• Submit daily production, inventory, and dispatch reports to senior management.
• Maintain team attendance, OT reports, and machine logs.
• Recommend automation or digital tracking tools where applicable.
