Job Description

Hiring: Manager – Production Planning & Control (Manufacturing | Mechatronics)

📍 Mumbai (with Udaipur plant coordination)

🕒 8–12 years experience | 🎓 MBA (Finance) / B.E. Mechanical

➕ Japanese language is an added advantage

📅 Joining: Immediate to 15 days

We’re looking for an experienced PPC Manager to oversee planning, scheduling, monitoring, and cost-efficient control of production operations for mechatronic products.

Key Responsibilities

Build and manage weekly/monthly/annual production plans aligned to demand and capacity.
Monitor daily production, KPIs, efficiency, downtime, and lead times; drive corrective actions.
Ensure quality, safety, and adherence to manufacturing standards.
Coordinate with finance, procurement, QA, logistics, maintenance, engineering, and project teams.
Manage RM/FG inventory, MRP, and ensure timely material availability.
Optimize resource allocation, reduce waste, and support cost-control initiatives.
Lead continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and process optimization projects.
Prepare production reports, maintain documentation, and support audits/compliance.
Handle monthly payment forecasts, contract manufacturing reconciliations, and production-related financial coordination.
Lead, train, and develop the PPC team to ensure high performance.

Required Skills

Strong in production planning, capacity planning, demand forecasting & scheduling.
Proficient in
SAP/ERP
planning modules.
Solid understanding of
mechatronic, mechanical, electrical & automation
manufacturing processes.
Expertise in
MRP, inventory control, and logistics coordination
.
Knowledge of
ISO standards, QMS, Lean, and Six Sigma
.
Strong analytical, data interpretation, and process improvement skills.

Works closely with: Manufacturing, Sales, Project, Logistics, Technology & Service teams
