Your Job
You have the profile of a detail-oriented and analytically skilled Production Planner, capable of interpreting technical specifications and aligning production schedules with business objectives and customer expectations. You are proactive in identifying constraints and opportunities within the production process and can define planning strategies that reflect both company policies and the dynamic market environment.
Our Team
We are a collaborative and agile team at the core of production coordination. Working closely with cross-functional departments, we ensure timely execution of plans, resolve bottlenecks, and support dispatch and material flow. Our focus is on responsiveness, ownership, and continuous improvement to meet delivery goals and drive operational success.
What You Will Do
- Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance with minimum lead time which includes analyzing backlog.
- Need to release shop package to shop in timely manner.
- Collaboration with production support groups like Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, etc.
- Need to generate route card for hard wares and need to coordinate for In House manufacturing it as well as for direct purchase.
- Coordination of production flows across multiple products.
- Involvement in Lean projects and/or proposals of projects and strategies to ensure continues improvement.
- Conversion of planned orders daily to ensure demand is being reflected promptly.
- Coordination with vendors for sub-contracting activity and need to ensure for timely completion.
- Generating optimizing layout for max. utilization of material.
- Working for Nonstandard wooden boxes based on drawings.
- Maintain wooden box inventory, also need to indent in timely manner and need to coordinate with vendor.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor of Engineer or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Good communication skills required.
- Should have problem solving approach not for only problem highlighting.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Knowledge of ERP (Infor LN is beneficial).
- Embrace and apply Principle Based Management (PBM) framework and create culture carriers within the team.
