Production Planner

We are urgently seeking an experienced Production Planner Executive for our Manufacturing Unit located in AHMEDABAD, preferably with a background in Mechanical Engineering. As a Production Planner Executive, your responsibilities will include monitoring jobs to ensure timely completion within budget constraints. You will be tasked with coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products, planning and prioritizing operations for optimal performance and minimal delays. Determining the necessary manpower, equipment, and raw materials to meet production demand will be a key aspect of your role. Assigning workers and other staff to specific production operations, addressing issues promptly to minimize disruptions, and gathering output information such as the number of finished products and defect percentages are essential tasks. Collaboration with quality control, warehouse, and other relevant staff members is crucial. Additionally, you will be expected to identify opportunities to enhance productivity and reduce costs. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, along with experience in MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning). Adaptability to changing priorities and effectiveness in dynamic environments are highly valued qualities. Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, 5S practices, and continuous improvement methodologies is required. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and knowledge of production forecasting, capacity planning, and production cost control are essential for success in this role. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, requiring in-person work at our manufacturing facility in AHMEDABAD.,
