Payroll Specialist

Your Job The US Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for US-based employees. This role involves handling payroll calculations, deductions, compliance with federal and state laws, and addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees. The specialist will work closely with the HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations. What Will You Do Process bi-weekly or monthly payrolls for US-based employees. Calculate wages, salaries, bonuses, and deductions accurately. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations. Ensure accurate and timely year-end reporting, including W-2s. Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies. Liaise with HR and Finance to resolve any payroll issues. Off cycle Check Processing Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-state environment. What Will Put You Ahead Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll laws. Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
