Production Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Factory Production Manager to oversee the operations of our cotton bag manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory management, excellent leadership skills, and a robust network of job workers, suppliers, and vendors. The Factory Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, managing sampling and product development, and meeting production targets. Key Responsibilities: • Operational Management: • Oversee daily operations of the cotton bag manufacturing facility. • Ensure production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and within the allocated budget. • Implement and maintain effective production schedules to meet customer demands. • Team Leadership: • Lead, manage, and motivate factory staff to achieve production goals. • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate objectives and performance feedback. • Foster a positive and productive work environment. • Quality Control: • Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications. • Implement quality control measures and troubleshoot any quality-related issues. • Continuously improve production processes to enhance product quality. • Supply Chain Management: • Maintain a strong network of job workers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure a steady supply of materials. • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors. • Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed. • Health and Safety: • Ensure the factory complies with all health and safety regulations. • Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety training for staff. • Address any safety concerns promptly and effectively. • Sampling Management: • Oversee the sampling process to ensure samples meet design and quality specifications. • Coordinate with designers and customers to manage sample requests and approvals. • Ensure timely production and delivery of samples to clients. • Product Development: • Work closely with the product development team to develop new cotton bag designs and products. • Implement and manage the production of new products from prototype to final product. • Stay updated with market trends and competitor products to drive innovation. • Reporting and Documentation: • Prepare and present regular reports on production, quality, and inventory status. • Maintain accurate records of production metrics, staff performance, and equipment maintenance. • Coordinate with upper management to align factory operations with company goals. Qualifications: • Minimum of 10 years of experience in factory management, preferably in the textile or cotton bag manufacturing industry. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent knowledge of production management, quality control, and supply chain management. • Proven ability to develop and maintain a network of job workers, suppliers, and vendors. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle operational challenges. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for production management and reporting. • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment. • Experience in sampling management and product development is highly desirable.
