Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production activities to achieve output, quality, and delivery targets.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
Monitor KPIs such as efficiency, downtime, and rework; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Implement Lean, Kaizen, and 5S practices for productivity and workplace safety.
Lead and motivate shop-floor teams, ensuring discipline and skill development through structured reviews.
Coordinate with design, quality, and service teams for smooth production and issue resolution.
Maintain accurate production records, cost tracking, and adherence to ECR/ECN changes.
Conduct vendor coordination and audits to support production and outsourcing needs.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering
10+ years in production (preferably in heavy machinery, construction or access equipment)
Hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, assembly processes
Strong leadership of shop-floor teams and structured reviews
Proficient in Lean, Kaizen, ECR/ECN, root cause analysis
