Quality Supervisor

Job Title: QC Supervisor – Bags & Garments Manufacturing Location: Kolkata Employment Type: Full-Time About Us Bag Studio by Patodia Organics is a purpose-driven manufacturer and exporter of premium cotton and jute bags. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of 10+ QC checkers, ensuring consistent quality standards. Performance Tracking: Monitor and track the performance of individual checkers, providing feedback and support for improvement. Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QC reports for management, highlighting quality trends, issues, and progress. In-line Checking: Conduct daily in-line checks of work being produced to catch and correct issues early in the process. Problem-Solving: Investigate causes of rejections or defects, work closely with the Production Supervisor to implement corrective actions. Inspection: Review in-process and finished goods for defects, measurements, stitching, trims, and finishing details. Compliance: Ensure adherence to client specifications, internal quality standards, and certification requirements. Overtime Support: Be available for 3–4 days of overtime per week during high production periods—additional pay provided. Requirements Minimum 5 years of QC experience in garments or bags manufacturing (export experience preferred). Strong knowledge of stitching, finishing, trims, and packaging standards. Proven ability to track KPIs, generate reports, and manage a QC team. Problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when required.
