To achieve the same on a particular geographical level, we are on the lookout for an Area Sales Manager in Ahmedabad location who will: Increase business opportunities by implementing the right sales strategies Establish and cater to a customer base, keeping in mind the basic area sales manager roles and responsibilities Prepare sales plans as per the overall mission, vision and ethos of the company Build brand awareness specifically for a geographical area as a sales field manager Review, improvise and update sales policies and strategies as and when the situation arises, keeping in mind the scope of the company Meet and exceed the ROIs and KPIs through effective sales performances Responsibilities The role is specific to the clientele in a set territory. We are looking for someone who can easily adapt to a new environment, and who has a successful track record to manage the orthopedic surgeries, if needed assisted in the case, ability to maintain the sales closing as per the implant usage & targets. The ability to inspire and motivate is a must, as an area sales manager will be mentoring a team to achieve sales targets on the basis of surgeries. By building an efficient and productive Scrub team, the role of an ASM involves proficiency in an assortment of skills including communication, negotiation and problem-solving. The core responsibilities of an ASM would be to: Work in close collaboration with the sales cum Scrub team and dealers / distributors in the area Guide the team to meet the Surgeries/sales- targets set by the company Foster a strong relationship with existing and potential clients and resolve any customer queries that come by Utilize different modes and channels of communication to reach the target audience effectively Required skills and qualifications About 6-8 years of the total experience of the orthopedic segment out of which around 2-3 years of experience of scrubbing would be added advantage Exposure & experience in Orthopedics background/sports medicine devices sales would be preferred. Proven Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets Outstanding written, oral, and interpersonal skills Bachelors degree or business management, marketing, or a similar field or Nursing degree. Willingness to travel on the job when the situation demands it.
Job Purpose To develop and optimize CNC/VMC programs, design fixtures and tooling, and convert 2D drawings into 3D. CAD/CAM models to support precision machining of orthopedic implants and instruments. The CAD/CAM,Engineer ensures manufacturability, accuracy, and efficiency in production processes using advanced software tools (Esprit, SolidWorks, SolidCAM, AutoCAD). Key Accountabilities Create and validate CNC/VMC machining programs using Esprit Software. Convert 2D technical drawings into 3D CAD models using SolidWorks/AutoCAD. Design and develop fixtures, jigs, and tooling for new and existing components. Conduct program prove-outs, setup sheets, and first-piece inspection with QC. Collaborate with Production, QA, and D&D teams to ensure part manufacturability and accuracy. Maintain program documentation, fixture drawings, and version control. Support prototype machining and D&D projects with new CAD/CAM programs. Continuously improve machining cycle time, tool utilization, and process efficiency. Unique characteristics necessary for good performance Strong practical understanding of machining processes and cutting parameters. Ability to translate 2D drawings into optimized 3D programs. Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and minimize machining errors. Hands-on approach to fixture design and implementation. Key Decisions i. Finalizing CNC programs, tool paths, and machining strategies. ii. Selection of tooling, fixtures, and machining sequences. iii. Determining fixture design and modifications for new components.
