Job Summary:

Mital Jewels is seeking a highly skilled and result-oriented Production Manager to lead and manage the complete jewelry manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing production activities while ensuring product quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency. This role requires strong technical knowledge of jewelry products, problem-solving abilities, and effective team leadership to drive productivity and maintain smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production targets to meet organizational goals.
• Forecast and plan manpower, material requirements, and skill training needs for upcoming production.
• Ensure timely completion of all production orders with adherence to quality standards and delivery deadlines.
• Oversee and coordinate with internal teams design, procurement, quality control, and dispatch for seamless operations.
• Track production status and ensure all urgent and high-value orders are completed on time.
• Supervise karigars, artisans, and workshop staff; allocate work based on product type and priority.
• Monitor and analyze production reports to forecast future requirements and identify process improvements.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team members’ technical and operational skills.
• Implement and maintain strict quality control measures throughout the production process.
• Analyze and manage gold loss, track differences, and ensure accountability.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and components to avoid production delays.
• Ensure safe, organized, and efficient working conditions in the production area.
• Continuously optimize resources, reduce wastage, and improve productivity.
• Stay updated with the latest manufacturing technologies and tools; plan, recommend, and oversee the update, purchase, and effective utilization of new machinery or software to enhance production efficiency.

Skills & Eligibility:

• Jewelry Product Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes, including casting, setting, polishing, and finishing.
• Product Knowledge: Awareness of gold, silver, diamond, and imitation jewelry products and their specifications.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify production issues, analyze causes, and implement corrective actions effectively.
• Forecasting & Planning: Strong analytical ability to forecast production, manpower, and material needs.
• Report Analysis: Capability to analyze production data and reports for accurate planning and performance evaluation.
• Leadership & Team Management: Strong communication and mentoring skills to train and develop team members.
• Quality & Time Management: Focused on maintaining high product quality with timely delivery.
• Accountability: Responsible for monitoring gold loss and ensuring production accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Jewelry Manufacturing, Production Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in jewelry manufacturing (gold, diamond, silver, or fashion jewelry).
• Hands-on experience in production planning, quality control, and resource management.
• Familiarity with jewelry design processes (CAD/CAM) and modern manufacturing techniques preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or production tracking systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
