Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage daily production operations across Machine Shop, Assembly, Testing, and Pipe Section. Ensure timely execution of production plans, monitor performance metrics (Plan vs Actual, OEE), implement contingency strategies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Execution
• Release daily and weekly production plans in coordination with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Allocate and prioritize workload across departments (Machine Shop, Assembly, Testing, Pipe Section).
• Monitor production schedules to meet dispatch timelines and customer delivery commitments.
• Monitoring & Reporting
• Track Plan vs Actual production and identify deviations.
• Submit daily and weekly production reports to senior management.
• Monitor and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) for each section.
• Team Management
• Lead and supervise section heads and production operators.
• Conduct daily morning meetings to review status and align goals.
• Ensure skill development and cross-training of team members.
• Contingency Planning
• Prepare and execute contingency plans for manpower shortages, machine breakdowns, or material delays.
• Minimize downtime and implement quick turnaround solutions.
• Process Improvement
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen, and 5S principles.
• Identify bottlenecks and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Quality & Compliance
• Work with QA team to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with ISO, safety, and statutory requirements.
• Coordination
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchase, Stores, and Design for seamless production flow.
• Collaborate with Maintenance team to ensure machine uptime.
• Data Management & Documentation
• Maintain updated production records, logs, and KPIs.
• Support implementation of ERP/MIS systems for real-time tracking.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering
• Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, and production monitoring tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in manufacturing aluminum or modular components preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
