Job Description

optimizing processes, leading and developing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with other departments to meet production goals and customer demands

Production Planning & Scheduling:
Develop and manage production schedules, coordinate resources, and align with customer orders and delivery deadlines.
Process Optimization & Efficiency:
Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce quality control measures, ensuring all castings meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate foundry staff, including supervisors, operators, and technicians.
Safety Management:
Develop and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
Equipment Maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance programs for foundry equipment, such as furnaces and molding machines.
Inventory Management:
Manage the inventory of critical spares to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Inter-departmental Coordination:
Collaborate with other departments, including sales, engineering, and procurement, to ensure production alignment.
