Product Manager - Trainee

About the Role

As a Product Management Trainee, you will learn to translate product vision into meaningful Web, Mobile, and App experiences. This role is designed for freshers who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced SaaS product environment. You will be trained on product workflows, customer needs, market understanding, and cross-functional collaboration.

Your primary focus will be to support the Product Management team while developing strong foundational skills. You will be aligned with our internal processes and trained to maintain the continuity of product execution. Additionally, you will be part of a structured talent pipeline designed to nurture future Product Managers.

About the role:

Learning & Training

• Ensure you are trained, aligned, and compliant with our product processes, documentation standards, and workflow practices.

• 
  Participate in continuous learning sessions to understand product lifecycle, market requirements, and user-centric thinking.

• 
  Build the foundation to become part of our contingency talent pool, ready to step up when required.

Product Execution Support

• Assist in writing basic product requirement documents (PRDs), feature briefs, and sprint inputs under team guidance.

• 
  Help translate product vision into structured workflows, mockups, and user journey documentation.
• 
  Support in coordinating usability studies, user research, market insights, and competitive benchmarking.

• 
  Work closely with product managers to ensure smooth product execution without disruption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with senior product managers, customer success, sales, marketing, and design teams to ensure seamless communication.

• 
  Update stakeholders on progress, blockers, or initial user insights using a data-supported approach.

Data & User Insights

• Learn to analyse basic product metrics, customer behaviours, and feedback to identify improvement opportunities.

• 
  Assist in preparing dashboards, reports, process documents, and user stories.

Compliance & Quality

• Adhere to data security, privacy, and compliance guidelines prescribed for SaaS products.

• 
  Support in testing and reviewing product changes before release.

Future Talent Development

• Contribute to building long-term talent continuity for the Product Management team.

• 
  Receive mentorship to grow toward an independent Product Manager role over time.

Desired qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, BCA, MBA

• Prior experience of around 1 to 3 years in Product Management or relevant fields in Logistics Tech

• Strong interest in SaaS, Product Management, UX, analytics, or logistics tech.

• Good communication skills (written & spoken).

• Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn data-driven decision-making.

• Passion for problem-solving and innovation.

• Flair for UX/UI (preferred but not mandatory).

• Must be comfortable working in a high-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
