As a Procurement Executive at Autobacs India, you will oversee and manage the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of automotive parts and accessories. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the quality of products, optimizing supply chain operations, and supporting our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the automotive industry, focusing on supplier selection, cost management, and risk mitigation.

Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms, quality, and delivery schedules. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.

Sourcing and Purchasing: Manage the end-to-end procurement process for automotive parts and accessories, including sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory levels.

Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Review and approve purchase orders and contracts.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that procured products meet the required quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with quality control teams to address any issues related to product quality.

Cost Management: Monitor and analyse procurement costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Develop strategies to minimize procurement costs while maintaining product quality and supplier performance.

Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities. Analyse market conditions to make informed procurement decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, inventory management, and logistics, to align procurement activities with overall business objectives.

Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier performance, purchase orders, and contract terms. Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics and performance.

Requirements:

Any degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favourable terms with suppliers.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse market trends and procurement data to make strategic decisions.

Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, logistics management, and inventory management.

Proficiency with procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle), and MS Office Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
