Overview

Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or equivalent technical degree)
  

Experience Required

• Source and procure electrical components, panels, switchgear, and automation materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery.
• Conduct vendor audits and performance evaluations for continuous improvement.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, and Maintenance teams for technical specifications.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain supplier database and develop long-term strategic relationships.
• Ensure purchase order accuracy, documentation, and ERP updates.
• Coordinate with Finance and Stores for invoice and inventory management.

• Strong technical understanding of electrical materials / components
• Excellent vendor sourcing and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of ERP / SAP / Tally (preferred)
• Analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and communication skills
• Ability to balance technical & commercial requirements
• Analytical skills including data analysis
• Proactive approach in accounting functions.
