With a focused goal of expediting the advent of service robots, Peppermint designs and makes commercial housekeeping robots from its factory in Pune and works across from its offices in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Dubai and Austin.
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Procurement & Vendor Development Executive with a background in Electrical Engineering to manage end-to-end sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization for our technical materials and project requirements. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with commercial acumen to identify reliable vendors, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely availability of high-quality electrical components. This role demands strong coordination with internal engineering, maintenance, and finance teams to streamline procurement operations and drive continuous improvement in the vendor ecosystem.
Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or equivalent technical degree)
Experience Required
- Source and procure electrical components, panels, switchgear, and automation materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery.
- Conduct vendor audits and performance evaluations for continuous improvement.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, and Maintenance teams for technical specifications.
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain supplier database and develop long-term strategic relationships.
- Ensure purchase order accuracy, documentation, and ERP updates.
- Coordinate with Finance and Stores for invoice and inventory management.

- Knowledge of ERP / SAP / Tally (preferred)
