Store Manager – Supply Chain Location: Pirangut (Pune) About Peppermint Robotics Peppermint is an autonomous robotics company co-started out of SINE IIT-Bombay and supported by Qualcomm. With a focused goal of expediting the advent of service robots, Peppermint designs and makes commercial housekeeping robots from its factory in Pune and works across from its offices in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Dubai and Austin. Overview The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all inventory, warehousing, and material handling operations related to robotic component and product storage. This role ensures efficient material availability for production, maintains optimal inventory levels, and ensures accurate documentation and traceability across the supply chain lifecycle. Location: Pirangut (Pune) Qualification Master’s in Supply Chain Management/Logistics or equivalent. Experience Required Inventory Management: Maintain and track inventory of raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods, and consumables using ERP systems. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies. Warehouse Operations Oversee receiving, inspection, storage, and dispatch of robotic parts and materials Ensure proper labeling, binning, FIFO/FEFO compliance, and physical organization of inventory. Maintain clean, safe, and efficient warehouse operations aligned with 5S principles. Material Planning & Coordination Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and R&D teams for timely availability of materials. Plan and execute material issuance as per BOMs and production schedules. Documentation & Compliance Maintain GRN, inward/outward registers, and all statutory documentation. Ensure compliance with internal controls, safety standards, and ISO/QA procedures. Team Leadership Supervise store assistants and handlers. Train team on material handling, safety protocols, and software usage. Vendor & Transport Coordination Liaise with vendors and logistics partners for timely delivery and dispatch of goods. Coordinate with the QA team for inspection and acceptance of incoming material. Key Skills Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. 5–8 years of experience in store or warehouse management, preferably in electronics, robotics, or manufacturing industries. Proficiency in inventory/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Zoho, Tally ERP, Odoo). Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Working knowledge of GST, E-way bills, and stock reconciliation procedures. Behavioral & Functional Competencies Experience in handling high-value electronics or precision parts. Familiarity with robotics manufacturing processes or R&D ecosystems. Certification in warehouse management, logistics, or 5S/Lean practices is a plus.
