Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and meticulous Process Mining Analyst with expertise in the travel care and finance domains. This role will be critical in leveraging process mining techniques to optimize business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive strategic decision-making, ultimately contributing to the organization's success. The ideal candidate will combine process knowledge with experience in data analysis, process mapping, and automation, while also bringing exposure to AI-driven transformation tools and methodologies The Process Mining Analysts plays a vital role in bridging the gap between business collaborators and technical teams, particularly in process automation and transformation projects. This position will focus on identifying, analyzing, and improving business processes. What You'll Do Detailed process mapping with activities, data flows, transformations, and integrations across tools and databases Produce and maintain process models (including associated control & obligation overlay) that meet business requirement Document as-is and to-be process flows, data mappings, and decision logic Analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in travel and finance processes, facilitating data-driven decision-making Utilize process mining tools to extract insights and provide actionable recommendations and identify process optimization and automation opportunities from process models Maintain linkages within process mining models to support deliverables and reporting and Gather and articulate business needs into detailed BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria Contributing to development of Centre of Excellence (COE) practices, working with the broader squad to continuously improve standard processes Work closely with cross-functional teams (Travel care, Finance, Operations, and IT) to gather requirements understand challenges, identify opportunities, and develop clear business requirements documentation Translate operational and technical findings from root cause analysis into actionable insights and recommendations, providing guidance and best practices for process optimization Maintain detailed documentation of analyses, methodologies, and findings for process transparency and knowledge sharing What We're Looking For 5-8years of experience in travel care and finance domain with 3-4 years in business analysis. Experience working on process mining platform Expertise in process mapping tools (e.g. Visio, Lucid charts etc). Familiarity with RPA, AI and machine learning is preferred Strong understanding of travel industry and finance operations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders. Working knowledge of project management application like Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence etc is added advantage Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is preferred, certification in process mining is a plus Understanding of travel industry standards and regulations and Exposure to process mining tools is a plus, certification in process mining is a plus Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) or equivalent process improvement certification will be a plus Location Gurgaon, India The #TeamGBT Experience Work and life: Find your happy medium at Amex GBT.
