Power BI Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Power BI Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and manage interactive dashboards and reports to help the organization make data-driven decisions. Prior experience in the construction chemicals or manufacturing sector is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards , visualizations, and reports based on business requirements. Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Production, Inventory, Procurement, and Finance to gather reporting needs. Integrate data from ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle) and other data sources to create meaningful reports. Analyze large datasets to extract business insights and identify trends and KPIs. Optimize existing Power BI solutions for better performance and usability. Conduct regular data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy. Support monthly and quarterly business performance reviews with visual analytics. Train internal users on Power BI dashboard usage and self-service BI capabilities. Document processes, data models, and workflows. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field . Minimum 3 years of experience working with Power BI in a corporate setting. Strong DAX and Power Query (M language) skills. Experience in integrating data from ERP and manufacturing software systems . Proficiency in SQL , data modeling, and ETL processes. Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs such as production efficiency, cost analysis, and raw material consumption. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry . Knowledge of MS Excel, VBA, or Python for advanced data analysis. Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, Power Platform, etc.) . Understanding of Lean manufacturing , inventory management , and supply chain metrics .
