As a Power BI Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful BI solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Dashboard & Report Development:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for actionable business insights.
Data Modeling:
Build and optimize efficient, scalable data models using Power BI Desktop.
Data Integration:
Connect Power BI to various data sources (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and Azure services) and perform ETL processes.
DAX Development:
Write and optimize DAX queries to enable complex calculations and advanced analytics.
Requirement Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business needs, define KPIs, and translate them into technical specifications.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor and enhance Power BI report performance through query optimization, data model improvements, and visualization tuning.
Data Governance:
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security through adherence to governance and compliance best practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and leadership teams to deliver tailored BI solutions.
Training & Support:
Provide end-user training, guidance, and support on Power BI tools to enable self-service analytics.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on the latest Power BI features, Azure integrations, and BI industry trends to recommend enhancements.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Power BI (Desktop, Service, Mobile)
.
Advanced knowledge of
DAX
and
Power Query
for complex data calculations and transformations.
Hands-on experience with
Azure Boards integration
for data visualization and reporting.
Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation in relational databases.
Familiarity with
data warehousing concepts and tools
(Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.).
[Optional] Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.).
Knowledge of
cloud platforms
(Azure preferred; AWS/Google Cloud is a plus).
Understanding of
Python or R
for advanced analytics (advantageous but not mandatory).

Preferred Certification:

Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI Certification).
Other relevant certifications in
BI, Data Analytics, or Cloud Platforms
are a plus.
