Power BI Specialist

The position of Power BI Specialist in Bangalore requires a highly skilled individual to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. As a Power BI Specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful BI solutions supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key responsibilities include designing interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for actionable business insights, building efficient data models, connecting Power BI to various data sources, writing and optimizing DAX queries, gathering requirements from stakeholders, optimizing report performance, ensuring data governance, collaborating with stakeholders, providing training and support, and recommending continuous improvements. The technical skills required for this role include proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query, hands-on experience with Azure Boards integration, strong SQL skills, familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools, knowledge of other BI tools, cloud platforms, and understanding of Python or R for advanced analytics. A preferred certification for this role is Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI Certification), with other relevant certifications in BI, Data Analytics, or Cloud Platforms being a plus.
