Availability between 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST is required to support collaboration with our global teams.

About the Role

We are seeking an PMO Analyst to drive accountability and continuous improvement across our software development teams. The role will sit within a newly formed PMO function and will play a key role in ensuring engineering success across our organization. The role will track and report existing key performance indicators and other metrics while working directly with engineering teams to ensure delivery excellence and to identify improvement opportunities. The role will also identify opportunities for establishing additional KPIs and provide recommendations to Engineering leadership.

Key Position Responsibilities Include:

Metrics Management & Reporting

• Produce regular reports on team performance trends, highlighting areas of concern and success.
• Establish baseline metrics and targets in partnership with engineering leadership.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple development teams and tooling platforms.

Team Engagement & Accountability

• Conduct regular check-ins with development teams to review performance against established KPIs.
• Facilitate conversations around metric trends, blockers, and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Scrum Masters and Engineering Managers to address underperformance or process gaps.
• Escalate systemic issues or persistent performance concerns to appropriate leadership.

Process Improvement

• Identify patterns and trends across teams that indicate process inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
• Support the implementation of improvement initiatives and measure their effectiveness.
• Contribute to the evolution of engineering standards and best practices.

Stakeholder Communication

• Translate technical metrics into business-impact narratives for executive stakeholders.
• Provide visibility into development capacity, throughput, and quality trends.
• Support resource planning and forecasting through data-driven insights.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience in software development, DevOps, or engineering operations roles.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar).
• Experience working with engineering metrics platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub, JIRA, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in data analysis or business intelligence.
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering effectiveness frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and scripting languages for data extraction and automation.
