Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in software development and project management to lead multiple projects in the MedTech domain. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and delivering value to customers through Agile/Lean practices.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
Drive projects through all PLM phases (setup, planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closure).
Achieve defined project milestones, monitor risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Manage change requests related to scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
Report project status to stakeholders and senior management with transparency.
Represent the project during internal and external audits.
Team & Stakeholder Management
Identify and assign project teams with Line Managers; set clear goals and build a cohesive team culture.
Ensure proper working environment, tools, and equipment are available for the team.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers on backlog management, product roadmap, escalations, and continuous delivery of features.
Coordinate with Architects on technical backlog, prototypes, and architectural grooming.
Build trust, empower teams, and facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution.
Agile / Lean Practices
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives, demos, daily stand-ups).
Shield the team from distractions, ensuring focus on backlog and timelines.
Define, monitor, and control project/product metrics (velocity, burn-down, defect trends).
Coach and mentor teams on Agile/Lean principles (thin slicing, value stream mapping, problem-solving).
Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Risk & Quality Management
Maintain a live project risk register with mitigation and contingency plans.
Ensure compliance with organizational processes, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Oversee project documentation and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization for customers.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in Software Development & Project Management, with demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects.
5+ years of hands-on project management experience in software development projects.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, Software Engineering processes, requirements engineering, and backlog management.
Expertise in conflict management, escalation management, and stakeholder communication.
Proficiency in project management tools (Excel, Azure DevOps, WBS, RCA, RACI Matrix, Risk Management techniques).
Certification in Project Management (RDPM Type S or above preferred).
Hands-on experience with Agile/Lean frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Agile Release Trains, Continuous Release practices).
Strong understanding of software development, design, and testing functions.
Ability to build dashboards and reports for stakeholder visibility (status, customer footprint, escalations, product roadmap).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence teams across functions.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills to resolve cross-functional issues.
Prior exposure to the medical domain and regulatory practices is a strong plus.
