Placement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Placement Specialist to join our DDUGKY project team. The candidate will be responsible for developing strong linkages with employers, generating placement opportunities, and ensuring successful and sustained job placement of trained candidates as per DDUGKY guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Employer Engagement:
• Identify, approach, and onboard potential employers across sectors and geographies for candidate placement.
• Build long-term relationships with industry partners to ensure consistent placement opportunities.
• Organize employer meetups, campus drives, and job fairs.

• Placement Execution:
• Facilitate placement of trained candidates in jobs aligned with their skills and training.
• Ensure placements are as per Minimum Wages Act and DDUGKY standards.
• Maintain and exceed the minimum placement benchmark (70% as per DDUGKY norms).

• Documentation & Compliance:
• Ensure timely collection and submission of all placement-related documentation including Offer Letters, Salary Slips, Bank Statements, etc., in line with DDUGKY SOP.
• Maintain accurate records of placements, retention, and post-placement support.
• Work closely with MIS team to update placement data on Kaushal Bharat and other relevant portals.

• Post-Placement Support:
• Monitor retention of placed candidates and provide necessary support to address grievances or relocation issues.
• Ensure achievement of 3-month and 12-month retention milestones for sustainability.

• Reporting:
• Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly placement reports to management and stakeholders.
• Track and analyze placement performance against targets.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PG in HR or Marketing preferred).
• 2-3 years of proven experience in employer generation and placements under DDUGKY or similar skill development programs.
• Good understanding of DDUGKY placement norms and SOPs.
• Strong networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under targets and deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Kaushal Bharat portal.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in organizing placement drives and employer tie-ups at regional or national levels.
• Willingness to travel across locations for employer engagement and placement follow-up.
• Passion for working in the development sector and making a social impact.

Salary: As per industry standards and experience
Reporting To: Centre Head / Project Head – DDUGKY

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
