About the Role


Performance Marketing Lead


The role involves analyzing campaign performance, translating insights into actionable steps, and collaborating with clients to refine objectives. You’ll ensure advertising content runs on the most impactful platforms while driving measurable results. This is a chance to own high-performing campaigns in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and present strategic media plans that align with client goals to maximize ROI across all channels (Meta, Google).
  • Review backend data (Shopify, GA4, attribution tools) to identify performance levers and drive optimizations beyond platform dashboards.
  • Lead and mentor Layer 2 media planners: set tasks, run dry runs, review work, and establish SOPs to improve team efficiency.
  • Own client communication: schedule and lead weekly calls, prepare performance decks, and proactively share insights.
  • Oversee ad operations setup, QA all campaigns before launch, and ensure seamless execution across platforms.
  • Allocate and monitor campaign budgets efficiently to achieve KPIs, flagging risks early.
  • Track, analyze, and report campaign performance, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations for both clients and the team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new platform features, and competitor benchmarks; implement best practices into client strategies.
  • Build and continuously refine internal processes for campaign planning, reporting, and knowledge transfer.


Requirements


  • 6–7 years of experience as a Media Planner/Senior Media Planner in a digital marketing or advertising agency.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, including ad ops setup and optimization.
  • Strong track record of managing paid media campaigns for eCommerce/DTC brands.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into strategy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in media planning tools and reporting platforms.
