Job Description

CommVersion is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a deep understanding of lead generation processes to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing data, optimizing strategies, and identifying business opportunities to drive growth and improve business decisions. You will collaborate with sales, customer support, quality and operations teams to ensure that our business generation efforts are data-driven and aligned with the company’s objectives. 


Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:

o Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to lead generation efforts, including metrics like conversion rates, cost per lead, and lead quality.

o Develop actionable insights from data to improve lead quality and overall business performance.

o Regularly prepare and present reports, dashboards, and KPIs to stakeholders (e.g., management, and sales teams).

o Track the performance of Industries and Verticals to suggest adjustments based on data trends.

2. Process Optimization:

o Identify gaps and inefficiencies in the process and recommend improvements to maximize revenue.

o Conduct root cause analysis of any issues affecting business and propose solutions.

3. Market and Competitor Analysis:

o Conduct research on market trends, competitor strategies, and customer behaviors to identify opportunities for business growth.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration: o Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, and Customer Success) to align strategies with business goals.

o Provide recommendations to enhance customer profiling, segmentation, and targeting to improve business strategies.

5. Forecasting:

o Assist in forecasting lead generation performance, ensuring that pipeline targets are met.


Key Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.


Experience:

● 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a lead generation, sales, or marketing environment.

● Proven experience working with lead generation processes and customer acquisition strategies.

● Strong understanding of data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).

● Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools. Skills:

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

● Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

● Proficient in SQL and data querying tools for in-depth analysis (preferred but not mandatory).

● Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.


Preferred Skills:

● Understanding of customer journey mapping and buyer personas.

● Serve as an employee advocate for new hires as well as established employees.
