Role Summary
- The role involves collating and validating relevant information, including savings pipeline data, budgets, and forecasts, to populate the reports and perform analysis to support procurement savings activity.
- The analyst works closely with the PBMI Team Leader in Hyderabad, procurement teams and key stakeholder to ensure accuracy and completeness of savings data and supports other tasks as required.
- As part of the D&I Team, the role requires a good understanding of the wider processes and activities carried out across the team, not just in their own area. The analyst should be able to connect information between savings, spend, and other reporting activities to ensure consistency, accuracy, and meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for production and completion of savings reports for business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Ensures design and quality of savings reports meet D&I standards and uses initiative to maintain consistency.
- Liaises with procurement owners, various requesters, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements for savings reports are understood and met.
- Partners with procurement and finance teams to drive preparation of savings budgets, forecasts, and pipeline tracking.
- Uses savings analytics to generate insights supporting procurement decisions and risk management.
Skills & Experience
- Degree level educated & 3+ years working in a data analysis role in a Procurement/Finance environment.
- Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills – including knowledge of large spreadsheets, pivot tables, sorting, charts, IF statements and XLOOKUPS.
- Power BI and Data Bricks
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to use initiative and solve problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, strong verbal, and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and proactiveness, highly motivated.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and multiple deadlines.
- Willingness to learn quickly and work in fast-paced environment.
