Brand Partnerships & Business Development Manager

Totalis is a media company and creative agency at the intersection of original content and brand building. We produce compelling IPs, develop talent-led projects, and partner with brands to create work that captivates audiences and drives meaningful engagement. As a newly founded company, we're building something from the ground up—and we need someone who thrives in that environment.


The Role

forge strategic partnerships for our original content and IPs, while simultaneously driving new business for our agency servicï»żes


This role requires equal parts relationship builder, dealmaker, and strategic thinker—someone who can spot opportunities, craft compelling pitches, and close deals that move the business forward.


What You'll Do


Partnerships (Original Content & IPs)

  • Source, evaluate, and secure brand and media partnerships that elevate our original IPs and talent-led projects
  • Design creative partnership frameworks that create value for both Totalis and our collaborators
  • Lead negotiations and manage contracts to ensure mutually beneficial, long-term relationships
  • Work closely with content, video, and strategy teams to seamlessly integrate partnerships into productions and campaigns
  • Nurture existing partnerships, identifying opportunities for expansion and deeper collaboration


Business Development (Agency Services)

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities for Totalis' creative agency services
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to connect with prospective clients across industries
  • Create compelling proposals and pitch presentations that showcase our capabilities and differentiate our offering
  • Build a robust pipeline of leads and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Represent Totalis at industry events, building our reputation and expanding our network


Strategic & Operational

  • Stay ahead of trends in media, brands, culture, and advertising to identify emerging opportunities
  • Maintain organized databases of partners, prospects, and pipeline activity
  • Track and report on partnership performance, business development metrics, and revenue KPIs
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, service packaging, and go-to-market positioning for agency offerings


What You Bring

  • Proven experience

     in brand partnerships, business development, or sales—ideally within media, entertainment, advertising, or creative agencies
  • Strong negotiation and dealmaking skills

     with a track record of structuring successful collaborations and closing new business
  • Exceptional communication abilities

    —you can build rapport quickly, tell compelling stories, and influence decision-makers
  • Deep industry knowledge

     of the brand, media, content, and advertising landscape; you know what's happening and what's next
  • Entrepreneurial mindset

    —comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful, and driven to build something from scratch
  • Highly organized

     with the ability to manage multiple deals, relationships, and priorities simultaneously
  • Strategic yet hands-on

    —you can see the big picture but aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred
