Job Summary:

Overseas Pricing Manager



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead overseas pricing function for Air and Ocean freight (FCL, LCL, Consolidation, Breakbulk, and Project Cargo).
  • Negotiate freight rates and contracts with international carriers, airlines, and overseas agents.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with global network partners to ensure competitive and reliable pricing solutions.
  • Work closely with Sales & Business Development teams to provide timely and accurate quotations for global RFQs, tenders, and spot requests.
  • Analyze trade lanes, market trends, and competitor pricing strategies to design effective pricing models.
  • Ensure profitability through effective cost management while maintaining competitiveness in the global market.
  • Monitor carrier performance, space allocation, and rate validity to support operational execution.
  • Liaise with overseas offices/agents for joint pricing strategies and bid submissions.
  • Prepare pricing reports, margin analysis, and management dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and best practices in pricing functions.



Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of global freight forwarding (Air & Sea) and logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of

    8–10 years

    in overseas pricing, procurement, or trade lane management.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills with shipping lines, airlines, and international agents.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen to balance competitiveness and profitability.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, pricing tools, ERP/CRM platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple RFQs/tenders under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-border collaboration.
  • Team leadership and mentoring experience preferred.



Education & Qualification:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field.
  • Additional certifications (FIATA, IATA, APICS, CILT) will be an advantage.
