Experience Required: 8–10 years in Freight Forwarding / Shipping / Logistics (Pricing / Procurement function) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Overseas Pricing Manager to lead our global pricing operations. The role involves developing competitive pricing strategies, managing overseas rate negotiations, building strong carrier/agent relationships, and ensuring profitability while supporting business development teams with accurate and timely quotations. Key Responsibilities: Lead overseas pricing function for Air and Ocean freight (FCL, LCL, Consolidation, Breakbulk, and Project Cargo). Negotiate freight rates and contracts with international carriers, airlines, and overseas agents. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with global network partners to ensure competitive and reliable pricing solutions. Work closely with Sales & Business Development teams to provide timely and accurate quotations for global RFQs, tenders, and spot requests. Analyze trade lanes, market trends, and competitor pricing strategies to design effective pricing models. Ensure profitability through effective cost management while maintaining competitiveness in the global market. Monitor carrier performance, space allocation, and rate validity to support operational execution. Liaise with overseas offices/agents for joint pricing strategies and bid submissions. Prepare pricing reports, margin analysis, and management dashboards to support strategic decision-making. Drive process improvements, automation, and best practices in pricing functions. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of global freight forwarding (Air & Sea) and logistics industry. Proven track record of 8–10 years in overseas pricing, procurement, or trade lane management. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills with shipping lines, airlines, and international agents. Strong analytical and commercial acumen to balance competitiveness and profitability. Proficiency in MS Excel, pricing tools, ERP/CRM platforms. Ability to manage multiple RFQs/tenders under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-border collaboration. Team leadership and mentoring experience preferred. Education & Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field. Additional certifications (FIATA, IATA, APICS, CILT) will be an advantage.
