OPT Recruiter

• Build and maintain a proactive pipeline of OPT/EAD and international student candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, campus outreach, job boards, and referrals.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment: screen, interview, qualify, present candidates to hiring teams, negotiate offers, and support onboarding.
• Review and validate OPT/STEM OPT/EAD documentation, track visa/authorization timelines, and coordinate with HR/immigration teams to ensure compliance.
• Partner closely with US-based hiring managers and clients to translate role requirements into sourcing strategies; manage interview scheduling across IST/US overlap hours.
• Maintain accurate records in the ATS, produce weekly hiring metrics (pipeline, time-to-fill, conversion rates), and continuously optimise workflows.
• Design and execute candidate engagement programs—campus events, webinars, targeted outreach sequences—to increase conversion and employer brand visibility.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 2+ years recruiting experience with demonstrable success placing OPT/EAD or international-student talent into US roles (tech/startups preferred).
• Practical knowledge of OPT/STEM OPT/EAD rules, employment authorisation timelines, and basic immigration process awareness.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, ATS (Greenhouse/Lever or similar), and Excel/Google Sheets for pipeline reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong candidate engagement and negotiation skills; ability to work flexible hours overlapping US mornings/evenings (IST).

• Experience working in staffing/talent-agency models or with campus recruiting programs (Handshake, university career centers).
• Familiarity with technical hiring for engineering roles or experience screening for software/developer positions.
