: International Student & OPT Recruiter (Remote - India)

About The Opportunity

We are hiring an OPT-focused recruiter to own sourcing, screening, and placing high-potential F-1 students and recent grads into paid OPT/EAD roles with U.S.-based and global employers. You will combine targeted outreach, compliance awareness, and candidate advocacy to build a reliable pipeline of OPT-ready talent for technical and business roles.
  • Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for OPT/F-1 candidates—source, qualify, coordinate interviews, close offers, and drive onboarding remotely.
  • Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, campus platforms (Handshake), job boards, and community channels; build and nurture talent pools for recurring hiring needs.
  • Assess candidate eligibility for OPT, STEM-OPT, EAD timelines and provide clear guidance on documentation and employer expectations.
  • Partner with hiring managers and U.S.-based clients to define role requirements, build job briefs, and align on interview and offer workflows.
  • Maintain ATS records, deliver regular pipeline and hiring metrics, and use data to optimize sourcing and conversion funnels.
  • Represent employer brand to student communities—conduct virtual events, info sessions, and campus outreach to attract high-intent candidates.
  • Skills & Qualifications
  • Must-Have:
  • 2+ years full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally with international students or early-career hiring.
  • Solid understanding of F-1/OPT/STEM-OPT/EAD processes and timelines; comfortable advising candidates and clients on basic compliance.
  • Proven sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and campus platforms; strong outreach and conversion track record.
  • Familiarity with ATS and CRM workflows; strong organisational and data-tracking discipline.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience placing technical roles (software, data) or prior campus recruiting experience; exposure to U.S. hiring practices and employer sponsorship conversations.
