Job Description

About the Role: We are building a premium skincare brand with a strong offline and online presence, and we’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to drive our entire backend operations. This is a core executional role for someone with deep experience in skincare supply chain management, administrative task, inventory control. You will work closely with the founder to launch and scale the brand from day one. Key Responsibilities: a) Product Lifecycle Management • Coordinate with third-party manufacturers, R&D teams, and formulation experts for pilot and commercial batches • Track timelines for product development, stability testing, and batch approvals b) Vendor & Packaging Management • Source and manage suppliers for packaging, raw materials, and design execution • Negotiate rates, MOQs, and delivery schedules for multiple SKUs (face wash, serum, moisturiser, etc.) c) Compliance & Regulatory • Ensure compliance with Cosmetic Rules, 2020 and Drugs & Cosmetics Act • Oversee product label compliance, COA records, and vendor documentation • Liaise for BIS, trademark, or manufacturing license-related matters d) Manufacturing & Inventory Control • Coordinate production timelines and track dispatch readiness • Maintain inventory, manage inward and outward stock flow • Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance. e) Logistics & Fulfillment • Manage warehousing and 3PL coordination for both online (D2C) and offline (doctors/chemists/stockists) orders • Ensure smooth dispatch, low return rate, and timely delivery f) Cost & Operational Efficiency • Track cost per unit, wastage, and optimize logistics costs • Help streamline vendor processes and minimize turnaround times g) Cross-functional Collaboration • Work closely with founders, branding, marketing, and finance teams to align operational execution with brand goals • Support offline brand activations and retail/in-clinic placements from an execution point of view Requirements: • 2–4+ years of operations experience in a skincare, cosmetics, or personal care brand • Deep understanding of logistics, packaging and skincare-specific regulatory compliance • Strong vendor and supplier management skills • Proactive mindset with high ownership and a bias for execution • Ability to build systems and SOPs for scale What We Offer: • Opportunity to build a brand with visible impact • Competitive salary aligned with experience and industry benchmarks To Apply: Email your resume to siacerainnovations@gmail.com with the subject: Operations Manager – Skincare Brand .
