Job Title: Operations Manager- CocoPadel
Location: On-site across CocoPadel Anjuna & CocoPadel Assagao (with travel between sites; future courts included)
Experience: 4-5 years
Role Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Operations Executive to manage the day-today operations of CocoPadel. The role focuses on ensuring seamless operations, delivering excellent customer experiences and supporting business growth as we expand. Key responsibilities include managing staff rosters, overseeing facility upkeep, coordinating with vendors, handling inventory and cash/POS management, and ensuring smooth event and tournament execution. The position will also play a vital role in new court launches and in developing and standardizing SOPs to streamline operations across locations
Key Responsibilities:
i. Run daily operations across sites; ensure on-time opening/closing and smooth shift handovers.
ii. Build, manage, and publish staff rosters (coaches, ground staff, etc).
iii. Maintain court readiness and facility hygiene; drive preventive maintenance with vendors.
iv. Own booking systems and occupancy management. Maximize utilization.
v. Cash/POS reconciliation, and basic reporting.
vi. Manage inventory & procurement (rackets, balls, grips, accessories); eliminate stock-outs.
vii. Coordinate coaching schedules, clinics, and trials with coaches and partners.
viii. Support F&B partners (where applicable) to maintain service and hygiene standards.
ix. Plan and execute tournaments/events end-to-end: checklists, staffing, logistics, vendor setups.
x. Handle customer escalations on-site and via WhatsApp/phone; close issues quickly.
xi. Ensure safety & compliance (basic first-aid readiness, incident logs, equipment checks). xii. Create and maintain SOPs, checklists, and weekly MIS dashboards for leadership.
xiii. Assist with new-site setup: vendor onboarding, handover checklists, and go-live readiness.
Requirements:
i. ·4–5+ years of operations management with team-handling experience.
ii. Strong process orientation and comfort with data (Google Sheets/Excel).
iii. Hands-on vendor management and negotiation skills.
iv. Excellent communication, calm under pressure; customer-first mindset.
v. Willingness to work extended hours on event/tournament days and for urgent fixes.
vi. Ability to travel between sites in North Goa; two-wheeler license preferred.
vii. Bonus: Experience in sports clubs, gyms, arenas, hotels, or recreation facilities; basic firstaid.
