BM Exports Private Limited, established in 1992 and headquartered in Ludhiana, is a trusted name in the global bicycle parts industry with over three decades of manufacturing and export excellence. Serving markets across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, the company is known for producing high-quality and durable products with customer centric designing in mind.

While continuing to lead in traditional single-speed bicycle parts, BM Exports is steadily expanding into components for modern and electric bicycles.


Role Description – Operations Manager

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ludhiana. The Operations Manager will be responsible for end-to-end operational control, ensuring smooth inventory management, accurate dispatches, efficient vendor coordination, and disciplined process execution across the supply chain.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can manage day-to-day operations while also identifying bottlenecks, improving systems, and reporting performance metrics to senior management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory planning, stock accuracy, and movement across warehouses
  • Manage dispatch operations, logistics coordination, and on-time delivery performance
  • Lead vendor and supplier management, including follow-ups, timelines, and quality adherence
  • Verify and reconcile billing, invoices, and dispatch documentation
  • Set, track, and evaluate monthly operational KPIs (inventory turnover, dispatch accuracy, delays, costs)
  • Identify process gaps and bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare and present regular operational reports to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and cost controls
  • Coordinate with production, accounts, and sales teams to maintain uninterrupted operations


Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in operations, supply chain, or factory management
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, dispatch processes, and vendor coordination
  • Ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and drive process improvements
  • Practical, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, manufacturing/export environment
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and operational tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Administration, or related field
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering goods, or export-oriented units is highly preferred
